If you judge a salmon on it’s abil­i­ty to climb a tree, you’ll nev­er appre­ci­at­ed the many great attrib­ut­es salmon have, includ­ing it’s abil­i­ty to climb up steams and even water­falls. In the same way stan­dard­ised test­ing favors par­tic­u­lar mod­els of think­ing exclud­ing all oth­ers. It’s said 80% of peo­ple rate them­selves above aver­age. I’ve just strug­gled my way though a test that I found quite hard. I don’t real­ly fan­cy my chances, but we’ll see.
